Club penguin wasn’t all ways here it took a lot of time to get CP were it is today. When club penguin first started it wasnt even called club penguin and it was on a site called rockitsnails (witch isn’t open any more) and it only had the coffee shop the night club the gift shop witch when u went in it just took u to a page were u buy real stuff and the town, also in the town it was snowing. The soon-to-be Club Penguin was in the middle of its life. It was made by Rocketsnail games. Yes, that’s where the name of a Cp moderator Rsnailwas from. Back then, Penguin Chat was free. Sadly, the Club Penguin Team never put things onto Club Penguin. The only room on Penguin Chat was the Town.  Of course, the other rooms in the town were there, but the second floors of the Nightclub and Coffee Shop weren’t there.The Town looked very similar to what it is today exept for minor details. On the bar at the bottom of the screen, there was the Chat bar, Emote button, Snowball button, Actions button, and Change Color button. There were also no Player Cards in Penguin Chat. There were no clothes and no hand items. From there club penguin grown more and more each year making more games and rooms andeven bring back some old items penguins loved so much!How to find a beat tester penguin-You can tell if penguins are beta testers by either their CaSe SeNsItIvE names or the number of letters in their names – now, you can only have 4-12 letters, whereas betas could have 3, or even numbers up to 16!

The town had little or no penguins in it unlike now were there is always penguins there. the coffee shop is one of the oldest rooms in club penguin it hasn’t changed. the dance club use to always have the penguin band playing there(they must of been happy when the DJ stuff got moved in )

 

If you left the town, you would go to a snow covered, baron land(witch would soon be the snow forts). If you kept going, you would see penguins going around in snowcats. And if you left again you would see construction penguins drilling. It was basically a circle. The Boiler Room was there to but it was much smaller and dark.

  

At one point in club penguin there was no igloo’s, What?? no igloo’s i say well its true. There was igloo’s in Penguin chat 3 but they were small and didnt have much in them

 Club penguin launched on October 24, 2005, and had its first ever party. The Beta Testers got a free Party Hat, a 1 month membership, and 2000 coins

back then there was no way to find you friends for a long time until the buddy list was made and soon updated so you could have 300 friends!

 

on November 21 2005 Puffles were found but they were not called puffles back then there were just little furry animals at that time and on November 23 2005 these these new creatures are completely harmless.

 

December 14 2005 Puffle roundup added! (there was no puffle shop back then)There are more Puffles than we are able to catch on our own andwe need you to help us round them up! Go to the snow forts and click on the “Puffle” sign to help us catch the little guys. Good luck!

 

December 22 2005 First x-mas party!We had over 12,900 penguins visit the party.
We gave away over 10,900 Santa hats.
We gave away over 10,400 Christmas scarves.
We had over 3,500 new penguins join Club Penguin.

February 22 2006- First members only party, We have been busy preparing for the Members Only – Pizza Party. The screen shot shows the new Pizza Parlor that will be located east of the Snow Forts(back then there was no plays, and puffle shop under way)

Puffle shop almost done The pet shop is coming along well and we’re all getting really excited about the Big Puffle Party!(there was only 4 different kind to pick unlike now)

Pet shop opens,March 17th the pet shop will open you can start adopting your own puffles. Remember all players can adopt at least one blue puffle, members can adopt more than one puffle.

April 27 2006 New game! Find Four!we decided to build a whole new room for the game above the ski lodge called “the attic.” So head up there to play and have some fun! You never know, you might just meet some new buddies. Don’t forget to let us know what you think.(Soon after more tables added because so many people loved that game!)

With the caves discovered in May 29 2006 a new game was added on June 06 2006 !(this is my favourite game!) Cart suffer!!!

Party for the beach! this party was all though out club penguin and it was for the opening for the beach! here is what the dock looked like

Beach out andlight house coming soon! As you can see, Club Penguin has been transformed into the biggest beach party ever!!!!On June 16 2006 the party was put out with two free items and the light House witch NO one could go in until the fall on September 22 2006.

Hockey game added August 11 2006!(btwi went to a hockey game with my brother and some other friends and i never really a fan of hockey, now i kinda am into it more, and my mother was never too but my mom jumped like 3000 feet when they got a gold and she scardedme haft to death!:lol:) There was a big party for it and it was the frist time the go red/ blue signs came out!

New puffle added August 25 2006!!Hmm… wouldn’t it be cool if you could own a puffle in real life?(hint hint)that’s one odd questions but i would want a really one )

Anyway, we hope you all enjoy this new addition to the Puffle family. Maybe you could throw a “Welcome Home” party in your igloo and have lots of fun showing off all of its new moves.

 

First part of light house open!On September 22 2006, the firstpart of the light house was opened!The “coming soon” sign is pretty mysterious, but you won’t have to wait long to find out what it is. More details will be revealed next week. As for the telescope, you might be able to see something in the coming weeks, so keep checking it every once in a while.

 Club penguin turns 1 years old!October 24 2006, club penguin has its first b-day party, it was in the coffee shop and had hats almost like the ones at the Beta party.

Halloween in club penguin 2nd Halloween party! On October 27 2006 was the first time in club penguin history that club penguin has ben in the dark! and it was also its 2nd Halloween party!Well, as you can see, this is turning out to be one of Club Penguin’s biggest parties ever!

 Jet Pack Adventure! November 06 2006 Start of a new game that took you almost every were in club penguin!!!

 Rockhopper finds new puffles!Caption rockhopper came with a new gift for all of us, a new puffle Out of all the puffles The coolest one by far is the Red Puffle, which can be adopted by everyone(members and non members, also now nonmembers can have two blue or two red or one or each puffle)! We hope you all enjoy this item as our Christmas present to you

 

December 22 2006 X-mas party out with a lot of kool things and a LOT of snow!(this was my first Christmas party is was the best out of all the x-mas party’s i ben to on cp!)

Since so many new penguins playing on club penguin each day it was time for a new idea for penguins to help new penguins give tours around club penguin! tour booth  witch was started on January 23 2007, was moved after for the what is now the path for the forest( i know that there was going to be something over there i just didn’t know what at that time)it was put out on January 26 2007

Ice party!Penguins sent in drawings and cp picked the best ones and made then out of snow all over the i land!

Bottle found February 28 2007 , story written by rockhopper started books in book room.Many of you have been wondering where the bottle went that was in the telescope. I think the fact that its missing from sight means it must be closer to shore

 once club penguin found the bottle closer to land, it was one of the frist bookes ever to be in the book room where now we can read a lot more and ever play paint by letter. Like always there will most likly be new books!

November 24 2006 new color and new puffle action! new stuff launched today! You’re puffles are hopefully a little cleaner now and happier because of it! Don’t forget to include that as part of the routine when you’re showing off your puffle tricks to your buddies

 

September 29 2006 Started working on new game( jet pack).And,This week marks one of the biggest puffle features ever… walking your puffle! Now you can show all your friends your puffles

 

December 07 2006, Pufflekey chains added!We just added a few new items you’ve been asking for starting with cute little miniature puffles on key chains. We’ve also added a new “black puffle” shirt that we know you’re going to love. We’re working on a similar “purple puffle” shirt that will be coming soon.

February 26 2007 Pizza-tron 3000 put out help make pizzas for the pizza shop!

 

There will always be more to the club penguin history but for now this is it. Rember every day on clubpenguin ur living its history!

Several animals inhabit Club Penguin island, the main of them being penguins. Other animals include crabs, worms, jellyfish, starfish, sharks, mullets, grey fish, yellow fish , clams , corals, shrimp, squids, an octopus, a lone polar bear, squid, giant squid, a giant puffer fish, and puffles (which have been domesticated and can be adopted as pets, though wild ones still remain in the wilderness).

 

Due to the extremely cold climate of the area, the flora of the island is limited to pine trees, seaweeds, and ‘O’ Berry bushes.
